The skill in practice
Effective Image
Focused workflows for image assets.
Start with Business Portrait Retouch, the first route in the image collection. Refine existing shoots with a restrained editorial finish. Smooth distracting shirt folds, reduce eyeglass glare, balance facial shadows, and keep the approved color treatment consistent across the series.
The range
What it covers
The current route is Business Portrait Retouch. Further image workflows can be added as separate routes.
- Clothing
- Smooth distracting sleeve, shoulder, and chest folds while keeping fabric, garment outlines, and necessary pose folds.
- Faces and glasses
- Reduce distracting glare, balance facial shadows, and soften isolated blemishes while keeping real expressions and skin texture.
- Series finishing
- Apply a coherent approved color treatment with natural skin, gentle contrast, and quieter competing background highlights.
- Comparison and review
- Show before/after views, inspect identity and scene details, and report actual output dimensions.
From request to result
How it works
Inspect and establish the look
Use supplied originals and an existing brief. Show representative proposals when requested, then carry an approved look through the authorized series.
Declare reference roles
Separate the edit target from a color-only or identity-only reference so unrelated people and objects do not enter the scene.
Compare and deliver
Review against each original and across the series. Save separate outputs, record prompts, and report the actual resolution.
The result: A welcoming professional portrait that keeps the character of the original shoot.
Ask in your own words
Try a real task.
Show before/after proposals for my business shoot. Smooth the shirt folds and reduce glasses glare while keeping natural faces.
Apply this approved warm look to the remaining portraits. Keep the poses and smiles, but soften tired-looking facial shadows.
Refine this approved edit using the original only for identity and anatomy. Keep its existing color treatment.
Choose the right skill
When to use it
Use the Business Portrait Retouch route for Imagegen editing of existing business portraits and photo-shoot series. The current route does not cover new scenes or body reshaping. Commercial copy and CDN administration belong outside this skill. Output dimensions depend on the available editing tool; private photographs are not included in the package.

Install Effective Image
With Node.js installed, run this command for an agent that supports Agent Skills:
npx skills add sebastian-software/effective-agent --skill effective-image
Then describe your task in the agent. This skill works on its own; add another when the work crosses disciplines.
For managed installations, pinned selections, and multiple agent targets, see all installation options or the DALO setup guide.
